Krewe of Atlantis
Founded in 1995, the Krewe of Atlantis of Scott, Louisiana, Inc. is a proud all-women’s Mardi Gras organization built on sisterhood, service, and celebration. Our monarch, known as Queen Hera, reigns each year as a symbol of strength, elegance, and unity — embodying the spirit of Atlantis and the extraordinary women who make our Krewe shine.
The Krewe of Atlantis was established to create a space where women can come together to uplift one another, celebrate Louisiana’s vibrant culture, and give back to the community through friendship, philanthropy, and fun. What began as a small group of spirited women in Scott has grown into a beloved local tradition — one that continues to honor our roots while embracing new generations of members.
Our organization stands for sisterhood, empowerment, and community involvement, blending the pageantry of Mardi Gras with a genuine commitment to service. Through annual events, socials, and parades, we aim to inspire joy, camaraderie, and pride in every member. Whether we’re donning our gowns for the ball, supporting local causes, or celebrating together in true Louisiana fashion, the women of the Krewe of Atlantis embody the motto: “Where friendship reigns, and every woman is royalty.”
